Possible Overhaul of the PATRIOT ACT.

There is great news on the Horizon concerning the PATRIOT ACT. Accroding to BlueOregon.com Senators Ron Wyden and Russ Feingold (D-WI) along with seven other Senators have sponsored a bill called the "JUSTICE ACT -the judicius use of surveillence in counterterrorism efforts act." I challenge everyone to look into this ACT and decide for themselves whether of not to support this peice of legeslation.

These are trying times.

My friends, these are trying times. Conservative values are under attack. We, as conservative voters, must stand our ground against radical social policies like Cap and Trade, Universal Health Care, and excessive Taxation.

The Supreme Question.

Sonia Sotomayor will more than likely be confirmed as the next Supreme Court Justice of the United States of America. But her record on property rights is concerning and I'm not sure the American people can afford to pay such a costly price.

Politics in Oregon

The Republican Party in Oregon is a mess. Not only do we not have a seriouse candidate for the Republican nomination in Oregon, We are out numbered in the legislature and light in the war chest. But I will keep fighting and speaking the word of common sense conservatism.

Obama administration doesnt get it.

It's a shame that President Obama and the rest of the world seems intent on supporting recently deposed Honduran President Zalaya even though the Honduran Congress, Supreme Court, and Military, have all been in unanimouse opposition to Zalaya, and his attempt to overthrow the constitution in order to serve another term in office. President Obama speaks of the need for democratic ideals in the world but doesnt seem to understand that the Honduran Supreme Court had ruled President Zalayas actions unconstitutional, and congress has brought charges of treason against the former President should he return to Honduras. If President Obama wants to show true leadership then he would recognize the new Honduran government.
